What I knew Before:

I was not aware of this term "blog" or "blogging" until I became a teenager in secondary school. The term as I knew it, were mainly used to express someone opinion or share information. Later, at university level, the term was introduced fully in depth to me in Computer Assisted Instructions where I had to create one on wordpress.com as a requirement and for experience. It was great to learn about blogging because I shared my opinions and also information that would assist anyone in teaching. 

What I Know Now:

From the experience and knowledge gained about "blog" or "blogging", I understood that this task can lead to major benefits in future. I also understood that blogging is not only used for expressing opinions but also to advertise which is a plus for business owners. Time has changed drastically and thus this field has developed into an actual full-time profession or job. Look at it in this way, the more you blog, the more you search for knowledge and become a better writer.

How My Teaching Will Be Affected By Blogging:

Using blog as a form of teaching is a plus simply because technology is increasing and thus they are being developed in schools. Because of this blogging can be used in such a way to incorporate classroom activities. In this way the teacher can have access to all the postings of students. By implementing blogging in the classroom with my future students I believe it can develop various positives such as -

             a) Relationships between classmates and the teacher

             b) Encourage feedback from students to the teacher

             c) Practice of safety on the internet

             d) Recognition of students work and contributions

             e) Increase of communication among students and the 

                 teacher

             f) Develop self-esteem as relates to sharing their thoughts and 

                 opinions

Conclusion:

In conclusion, blogging is a fun, easy and meaningful way to connect and build relationships. It offers endless opportunities for reflection as well as motivation for what one experience in regards to their learning. Blogging open opportunities to become a great writer and would be an excellent qualification in anyone life. I am therefore looking forward to using these unique tools not only from mine but from other classmates in future.
